The alchemical letter A and its ability to align with various degrees of a mathematical compass, draws many circles in its 3D form. Yet, when in a 2D form it flaunts its triadic associations. The letter within itself is a work of art. It pushes us in some way to do our absolute best craftsmanship.
As Artist we paint the portraits of people either revealing all of the emotions, hardships, and quarrels with life and how much it can weight them down or pull them up, or, we hide all of that behind there smile. Emoji is used metaphorically in that sense, knowing we all just want to see that smile.
An allegory in regard to the lord of constellations and the unknown. The potential of one’s light within and ability to see outside of itself.
The notion and feeling of falling and moving further away from something or someone while holding on to the idea of obtaining or being closer to that very something or someone. When this painting is rotated 360 degrees that very concept resonates with the viewer even more.
Light has been a primordial example of hope and faith and the feeling of New and the sacred weapon of good. Symbolizing the good in us all. Hence forth when we feel (light)er, we feel better.

Gazing into a ball of fire, is a reflection of the very fire within us while having the weight of the world on our backs. The light reappears to release us from that oppression, light we somehow summon from the depths of our core. Which leaves us going through the past, present, future, wondering if it’s a miracle.
This painting alone when staring into it can pulsate and appear still all at once though noticeably the grey cherub is carrying the gilded shield across the canvas. The green tapestry a drift the cherubs foot caters to the harmony and balance of the gilded shield in motion.
One of the important subtleties in this painting is the yellow clothe being held together by the cherubim. From a distance the yellow clothe appears to be draping across the shoulder and wrapping around the torso. Yet when taking a closer look the cherubim are in unison, giving off the appearance of a whole figure.
“I Matter” serves and pays homage to the struggles and unrecognized and often ignored, unsustained inconsistency to truly reconcile the trauma within the African American diaspora, leading to an inseparable strength to cope with conditions unwanted and the power to overcome adversity. Which in turn serves as an example for others to implement a similar frame of mind to overcome common issues.
Impunity implies exemption from punishment or some sort of consequence because of ill actions. Who or what is qualified to wear a crown of such nature. What knowledge is required or innate intelligence must one have to adorn thy head with such a crown. A question one must answer within self.
